HUMPHREY BOGART'S RADIO ROOM
Humphrey Deforest Bogart was born on Christmas Day, 1899, in
New York City, NY.  Mr. Bogart is most known for his movie
roles. In fact, his performances on the silver screen made him
a cultural icon. However, Mr. Bogart also displayed his talent
over the radio airwaves.

Humphrey Bogart reprised many movie roles on various radio
programs, such as
Lux Radio Theatre and the Screen Guild
Theatre
. In addition, Mr, Bogart appeared on Suspense and the
Jack Benny Program.

On March 26, 1951, Humphrey Bogart, along with his wife,
Lauren Becall, began appearing on a radio series called,
Bold
Venture
. Mr. Bogart played Slate Shannon, a owner of a Cuban
Hotel. His female ward was named Sailor Duvall, played by
Lauren Becall.
Bold Venture ended it's broadcast run on
September 15, 1952.

Humphrey Bogart proved to be a versatile actor, in both the
